Listening to a man of deep knowledge about almost everything discussed in few minutes spent with him, you can tell that Professor Olu Ogunsakin is really a man of knowledge. Came in with his gadgets (phones and ipad), you would easily get the gist that he is a man who he is updated with this twenty-first century trend.
He informed us about a lot of things in few minutes, and after that you would definitely ask little or nothing about him again, because almost all you need to know has been told.
Professor Olu Ogunsakin is a world-wide celebrity in the field of policing In January 2010, the British Government honoured him as one of the three most prominent Nigerians for his personal contributions to their socio-economic progress. He is also the consultant on policing to the Home Office in the United States of America.
He has a Ph.D. in Police Studies from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom since 1997. A post graduate diploma in mediation from the University of Toronto, Canada; Master of Arts in Criminal Justice, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Development, both from the University of Detroit, Michigan, USA and a Diploma in Business Administration from St. Clair College, Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
These heights of achievement have not made him lose his personality even in the midst of his children (talking about us) as we threw questions at him from different angles. Quite a different person entirely.
He is a man full of humour, common sense (though it’s not common) and deep knowledge. You can imagine a Professor who is handsome, funny, friendly, tall, nice and generous.
