Ibadan Entrepreneurs Network

THE IBADAN ENTREPRENEURS NETWORK EXHIBITION:

Aim: To IDENTIFY, SHOWCASE, ENLIGHTEN, EMPOWER AND CELEBRATE ENTREPRENEURS IN IBADAN, OYO STATE. Ibadan Entrepreneurs Network is a forum of vibrant entrepreneurial network that plants the seed of start up business growth in order to transform the Nigerian economy. We see the need to assist upcoming entrepreneurs by providing a platform for them to express their innovations and creativity. Ibadan  Entrepreneurs  Network  is  dedicated  to  advancing  the  entrepreneurial  network  by  supporting  entrepreneurs  at  all  stages  of growth and development. Giving the current drive of the government in promoting made in Nigeria goods, growing Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and increasing job  creation,  the  above named company is undertaking a project called Ibadan Entrepreneurs Network (IEN). The project's objective is bringing business people closer to facilities within the government whose statutory responsibilities is to help grow SMEs; with a goal of fostering the generation with not less than twenty-ive thousand jobs via SMEs in Oyo State within the next twelve months. In  this  regard,  the  project  is  aimed  at  showcasing  150  entrepreneurs  in  an  Exhibition  cum  Town-hall  meeting  meant  for  business owners to:

1.  Showcase their business products, celebrate them and introduce them to Ibadan buyers through an exhibition.

2.  Learn in conference format how to benefit from the Bank of Industry Credit facility for business owners.

3.  Learn  to  take  advantage  of    the  CBN/Entrepreneurship  Development  Training  in  improving  their  business  acumen  and  thus improving their eligibility for   CBN-assisted loans targeted towards SMEs

4.  Learn the rudiments and procedures of business name registration and incorporation; as will be relayed by representatives of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

5.  Understand basic tax returns procedures for businesses and business owners; as will be relayed by representatives of the Federal and State Inland Revenue Service.

6.  Network with other business owners.
