Mindset Makeover Event in Ibadan

The day was set. Publicity went all around, even those outside the city of Ibadan felt the campaign through social media, radio hype, registration on eventbrite.com, billboards, cute flyers and direct marketing that were done.

18th of March was the day for Ibadan Entrepreneurs Network event tagged "Mindset Makeover". The first session was free, but 5 days to the event, the online registration was  fully booked. Announcement was made that people could come get registered at the venue. Trust me, I saw people trooping in at about 9:46am for a programme slated to start at 12noon.

Kudos to the team IEN for the massive planning.

Participants started coming in in pairs, and gradually it was time...
Two out of the three Facilitators were around a day before, so we were sure of a nice Entrepreneurs Session with Jimi Tewe and Tunji Babajide.

It was a smooth training session for Entrepreneurs and Business Owners.

Bachelor's Party... Things have changed!

I once saw a movie about Bachelor's eve, five years after (2012) I was invited to a Bachelor's Party in Ibadan. Innocent me, I was just coming from a meeting in Lagos with tucked in shirt and well laced shoe, so I came to the hotel premises at about 9:30pm. I didn't see my host (Bro-In-Law to the groom) so I had to take a drink at the bar. On a normal day, I used to buy Malt drink at 100naira per bottle, but this hotel, I bought it for 250naira per bottle.

Not knowing the party will be attended by 73% of ladies, and guys have booked rooms ahead. At about 11pm when my host arrived the venue, I was already feeling sleepy, I never thought it would be a party of booze and babes. I saw different things, shapes and styles. It was opposite the movie I saw. I just became a camera man with my two lenses because what I saw in the movie was totally opposite the one I experienced. hhhhmmmmm
